How to calculate the DPI

We are sometimes confused convert milli meters to pixels, well below the tableinformation milli meters to pixel count the rest live in their own

1 mm = 3.779527559 pxl
2 mm = 7.559055118 pxl
3 mm = 11.338582677 pxl
4 mm = 15.118110236 pxl
5 mm = 18.897637795 pxl
6 mm = 22.677165354 pxl
7 mm = 26.456692913 pxl
8 mm = 30.236220472 pxl
9 mm = 34.015748031 pxl
10 mm = 37.795275591 pxl

To calculate the DPI (dots per inch) follows the formula
DPI = (PXL / D) x25.4
information
DPI = dots per inch
PXL = pixel
MM = the size of the image can be wide or long

Example: we scan a card with a size of 150 x 100 mm with the results of 400 pixels. so to width DPI is DPI = (400/150) x 4.25 = 67.73
